Dr. Memon is a board certified Pain Management specialist with a special focus on spinal interventions. He has extensive experience in the treatment of the entire spectrum of cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine disorders including disc herniations, disc degeneration, arthritis, scoliosis & traumatic injuries.
Dr. Memon offers individualized care through active patient participation in formulating a customized treatment plan to meet each patient’s specific medical and personal needs. He employs the latest proven technologies to get patients back to their desired lifestyle. He has been consistently recognized by his patients and peers as a compassionate and accomplished doctor.
Education & Training
Dr. Memon completed his residency training as an Anesthesiologist from University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock, AR. He then pursued his sub-specialty education in Pain Medicine from the State University of New York (SUNY) in Syracuse, NY. He continued to strive for higher educations and kept himself up to date with the latest research and technologies. He successfully completed the training requirements and became certified by the American Board of Interventional Pain Physicians (ASIPP), American Board of Addiction Medicine (ABAM) and Fellow of Interventional Pain Practice (FIPP).
Dr. Memon moved to Huntington WV in 2008 and joined Marshall University Neuroscience department as a Clinical Assistant Professor. He also served as a faculty at Cabell Huntington Hospital. After serving the local community for 5 years, he moved to Houston, TX and started private practice to better serve Houstonians. Currently, he has three office locations around Houston metro area.
Dr. Memon expertise includes non-operative management of a wide variety of spine and musculoskeletal conditions including joint, bursa and tendon injections as well as fluoroscopically guided spine injections. He also treats patients who suffer from Narcotic/Opiate addiction. He utilizes multi disciplinary approach to help patients achieve the best possible results.
